In late 2019, I was invited to talk about the digital journey we have been on at AFG over the past 12 months at the Oracle Modern Cloud Day. This was a great opportunity to showcase the amazing work the team at AFG has been doing in establishing our vision for the future in terms of customer experience and being the technology leader in our industry.

After the presentation, so many people were interested in what we had to say and asked some great questions about our industry and the value we bring. All of which we can use to create further new opportunities for brokers.
On a personal note my highlights included the story from Dan Murphy’s Head of Data on how they are using Oracle to personalize their marketing program and Followmont Transports investment in transforming their work force for the future. Hearing about the innovation occurring in other industries is something that really excites me and I look forward to bringing some of this to our industry in the near future.
Oracle has been on a transformation journey of their own over the last couple of years and it is great to see the results of this starting to shine through. Overall, it was very rewarding to be part of such a large and well-organised CX focused event in Sydney – thanks to Oracle and all the speakers and attendees.
